Merlin Nieterau is a PhD Candidate at the Research Institute of Child Development and Education. Her main research interests lie in the area of parenting and child development. She is particularly interested in investigating how parenting and interactions between parents and children influence children's mental health and wellbeing.
By empirically studying the daily lives of families, Merlin aims to fill important gaps in the understanding of dynamic processes of parent-child interactions linked to children's mental health problems.
