Danni Liu works as a postdoctoral researcher in the Preventive Youth Care department, where she collaborates with Dr. Patty Leijten and Dr. Sophia Backhaus on the project "Parenting Support: Optimal Combinations of Core Elements for Optimal Outcomes." This work involves using meta-analyses and individual participant data (IPD) meta-analyses to identify the most effective components of parenting interventions aimed at reducing child behavioral problems and improving parenting skills.

Prior to this, Danni completed her PhD in Developmental Psychology at Utrecht University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Judith Semon Dubas, Prof. Dr. Maja Deković, and Dr. Anouk van Dijk. Her PhD research focused on individual differences in children’s susceptibility to peer feedback and peer relationships, using both experimental and longitudinal designs.
